The end of AU's post says "Not everyone's year looked the same. When we stop to look back at our photos, we are able to find celebration in the moments we've experienced — both big and small." I love that, and totally agree.
I really enjoyed going through all of my photos from the past year and finding ones for each prompt. It reminded me of everything I actually did and accomplished this year, and allowed me to revisit some fun memories I'd forgotten about. More than anything, it made me realize I need to take more quality photos! I have so many random photos of things, but not enough of all the people I love and spend time with throughout the year. I often feel a little awkward stopping to take a photo with or of someone, but I need to get over that. With iPhones in everyone's pockets, there's really no excuse to not have a photo, right? So here's to taking time to take an actual photo, rather than frantically tapping the button on my phone.
